Cloning is good as far as food for everyone not just the rich.
Cloning is good for body parts and other medical research, for me I would like to see all my love one live to be old.
Cloning is bad when it's for war or to steal other's identity.
Cloning is bad when one suffort pain and death.

Since I did not talk about racism last week, I’ll go ahead and talk about my racist event that happened to me. Back in High school I tried really hard to play basketball, but I found that my coach, whom is white, favored the black kids on the team. Our gym at the time was being rebuilt so my coach decided that it will be best for us to practice down town St Petersburg in the hood. During this time at school there was this thing called bussing into which black kids from the hood would be bussed to our side of town which is a predominately white neighborhood. This was fine and I understood the reasons behind it. My problem was my coach and the decision he made for the basketball team to practice downtown in a not so very good neighborhood. The black kids on the team could just ride the bus and get to the gym that way, but instead my coach decided to give all of them a ride and the white kids had to get there own our own. My dad ended up taking the responsibility a few times a week when he could, that meant that he had to leave work early and that was not cool for the family. Periodically when the parents of the other white guys on the team could take us they would. During practice, everything that you could imagine besides someone getting killed happened. Not only were racist words were thrown out everywhere, but fist flew everyday. Fight after fight happened on a regular basis and my coach seemed to disappear when this would happen. Nothing ever changed and even the school administration could do nothing about it, well that’s what they said anyways. After a month of this bad situation I gave up and I did it with a smile on my face. I can and will always say that I tried, but at the time there was no hope nor was there a future in basketball for me. I don’t regret my decision even though sometimes I think of what I could be doing right now if I did play ball, but the situation at that time was night right and I fell that I took every avenue to make it better. So anyhoo, I’m fine with my decision and I’m happy with my life!
I have decided to do an image on discrimination against religion. I'm taking a few different religious symbols and combining them into a cool "centered around peace" kind of image. I feel very strongly about this subject and I was really inspired to do this when i purchased a painting that has the words "peace and coexistence" on it as well as different hand painted religious symbols on it, it's really cool!
one of the most important topics for me this quarter was dicrimination. the reason why i choose this was because i feel i encounter this quite often. thier was one incident when i tried to do good but was looked at if i had done wrong. i had stopped going to school, during my 11th grade year and decided to change in my 12th grade year. i started going to school and doing good however everyone and the administrartive thought i was up to trouble and my old ways. i was trying to go to school everyday however i just getting in trouble for other people. one time at the lunch table kids next to me were making fun of the kids walking by while i was eating lunch. the next thing i notice was i was getting in trouble for calling kids vulgar names, when i didn't do anything.
For my project, since I'm in Fashion and Retail Management, I am going to create a garment that is based on discrimination.
As for the topic for last week, I think cloning is both good and bad.
The good thing about cloning, technology and science are both upgrading very quickly. I always wanted to know whats it like to have a twin. If I die, I wouldn't want to clone myself, the reason the clone can catch any emotions or personality that I don't have and don't want to have.
I did my project on one of the topics that was written on the board, but not actually discussed in class. Still I feel it is important to bring up.

I call the peace neutralized. It serves to demonstrate, although it is potentially exaggerated, the effects of an internet regulated and controlled by any entity, whether it be the government or an outside contractor. Right now what we see and do on the internet is not regulated by anyone, what if that freedom was taken away? What if you only saw what other people or a committee wanted you to see? What if your favorite blog, website, or mail service was shut down cause it was deemed "unfit" for the public?
for my final i made an image in photoshop depicting discrimination.
Mine is about abortion. Again, not a subject I'm particularly fond of, but it doesn't bother me that it happens. So, we'll just watch the video.

For my final project I did a piece on how prejudice stereotypes intimidate the public into being closed minded.
Most stereotypes can hold water in very specific events, but some people are so intimidated by them they're afraid to even attempt to live up to their full potential, worried they will not live the right lifestyle, or up to the standards of the right people.
Nobody should follow in anyone's footsteps but their own.

I created a picture of a light bulb that is planted in the ground that has leaves growing inside of it saying rethink. I choose the subject of the environment for my project. I personally think that everyone that lives on planet earth has a responsibility to take care of the environment and every which way possible. I feel that that if a person doesn't par-take in helping the environment that the are morally wrong. We should do everything that we can to keep the earth how it was when it was first created. When people liter it is disrespected not only to the earth but to everyone that live here and the future children to come. With out the environment staying in tack then there will be no more human life. The earth will find a was to survive the question is are we going to survive with it.
Danita,
I did an art piece representing how I think marriage between a man and a woman is a morally right spiritual union.
I am going to show a video I made about a program that Tampa Bay Watch has to build oyster domes which help to filter the water in the bay.

Discrimination and racism are responsible for some of the worst crimes in human history and unfortunately it is something that every person has to deal with in some capacity some time in their life.
I have always enjoyed the movie Malcolm X and my favorite part is when he travels to Mecca and his perceptive is change. So for my final project I want to talk about racism in Israel and Palestine because I thing seeing it on that scale on my change the way some peoples perspectives on racism.
Age discriminatination affects a lot of people on a daily basis. Commercials on television are always advertising age-defying products. Doctors are advertising the use of botox and different plastic surguries to obtain a more youthful appearance. We don't even know what half of these products will do to you in the long run, but some people will spend a fortune just to look younger. You can usually tell when people have had work done to appear younger. In my opinion, most plastic surgury done to look younger seems to look un-natural. Some people end up looking worse than before they had the surgury done. By then, the surgical mistakes are usually irreversible.
Age discrimination is a big deal though. It can sometimes affect people's livelihood and relationships, and that is why I believe people will go to great lengths to obtain that youthful appearance. It's carzy because in the end there isn't anything that you can really do about it.------ D. Hutchins
My final project goes along with the previous assignment about racism.
Although this didn't happened to me directly, I did know of a girl who got offended every time somebody walk up to her in her customer service position speaking spanish to her.
She bordered in intolerance and continued to argue that "this is America" and that there's no place here for people like that.
She ended up dying her hair to blonde just to not be confused with Hispanics anymore...
In my project I decided to make an adaptation of some of the Andy Warhol pieces where there was an exploration on pop culture elements to make them fit into society in different ways. The model for the image has changed her appearance in order to fit in with her standards and what she perceives society standards to be. The result is that she gets lost in order to fit into society.
My project was about the discrimination against mma fighters because of people misunderstanding what MMA actually represents to us and why we do what we do. There is alot of bad press about how cage fighting is too violent and the fighters are nothing more then overgrown dogs. The rest of my presentation will be discussed in class.
i DID MY FINAL PROJECT ON
fetal development, i was inspired by the abortion theme that we touched in class. i thought by doing this visual,(sculptures of fetus) it would be easier form some people to understand where life start and how it develops.
