I was going to give an in-class writing assignment after the film, but the film is really long so I've decided to wait until next week to discuss the film and go over some things in the book before posting an assignment. Have a good weekend and see you next week!

i thought that this was a very good movie and i was shocked when i saw how he was murdered. it was very intreasting to see how he changed his life in prision, into a big muslim leader. this movie had a big effect on me because it showed you can turn a negative experience into a positive one. this was crazy to me to see how many people listened to malcom and to see how big of a movement he started. i knew that he was a serious muslim when he took his pilgrimidge to mecca. both he and martin luther king had a big impact on the society during their era.
lets see... Truth to tell, I didn't pay much attention to the movie, what I do know about Malcolm X is that he was very radical in the begining and towards the end he started to mellow out, just before he was assassinated. Some people didn't like the movie because of the racism against white people, and the like, but I say to them: We've earned it.
